A reminder of the social squash evening about to be held a week on Friday. Can you let the club know if you will participate by signing up in the bar. Numbers for catering are essential for a successful evening at the club. Only £10 for a few hours of squash or racketball - singles or doubles - a hearty meal and a drink. Very good value and fun and the draw for the EUROS football sweepstake will be made then. Entries are £2 with a few spaces left.
A brief round-up of the past club team squash season reflects the strength of the sport at the club and the bright future ahead. This is in addition to the successful club squash and racketball knockout competition which culminated in the junior and adults finals weekend at the end of May (see recent Facebook post):

- Grantham 1/Premier 1 League – Winners
- Grantham 2/Division 1 – 5th (out of 6)
- Grantham 3/Division 3 – 3rd (out of 6) - and losing finalists in Notts Cup
- Grantham 4/Division 5 – 3rd out of 7)
- Grantham 5/Division 6 – 6th (out of 7)
Racketball needs to be mentioned while the squash team season is closed and it is fantastic to see that the club now fields four teams in the Lincs Leagues compared to two last year. It is not too late to ask to join a team, so just let Sarah or me know, if you would like to. Matches run from now until early September with home matches Monday to Thursday.
