Sad news to report:

Clive Baker's son, Dan, informed us this week of the death of Clive, who played squash and then racket ball at Grantham for many years.

Dan wrote: ''My dad passed away unexpectedly on (last) Sunday morning. I think that many of the members will remember him, and so I wonder if you could let people know details for his funeral?

It's on Wednesday 30 November. There'll be a committal at Loughborough Crematorium at 13:15, for family and friends (Leicester Rd, Loughborough LE11 2AF). Then at 14:30 there'll be a celebration of his life at the Sage Cross Methodist Church in Melton (Sage Cross St, Melton Mowbray LE13 1RB).

We'd be really pleased to welcome anyway along from the Club, which was such an important part of his life for so many years.
