Re subscription renewals - change to payment system

Dear [[firstname]]

I hope this letter finds you well.

We have recently reviewed the system by which your account is managed and have made some improvements which we hope will be beneficial to all our loyal members.
As part of the improvements, we are introducing a Direct Debit scheme which will simplify the way you pay your account.
As you may be aware, Direct Debit is the most cost effective way of making payments.
Direct Debit Has Many Benefits Which Include:
? Improved Financial Management – a regular payment method which enables you to plan your cashflow accurately: you know when the funds will leave your account.
? Reduced Paperwork – with Direct Debit, there is only one piece of paper to sign and no more cheques to handle or standing orders to organise saving you a considerable amount of valuable time.
? You Remain in Control – you will always be given at least 5 working days advance notice of the amount to be debited through your monthly statement, giving you plenty of time to query any payment.
? Peace of Mind – Direct Debit is an efficient and above all secure method of payment.
? The Direct Debit Guarantee – this means that you will receive an immediate refund in the unlikely event of any error.
For this purpose, I have attached a Direct Debit Mandate which you should complete where indicated and return to by email.
Once we have received your completed mandate, we will write to you with regard to your future payments.
Please Note: No change will take place until you have been given formal written notice. There is no need to contact your bank at this time.
If you pay annually, please make your payment at the bar.
Finally, please note that all subscription fees for all categories will increase, as mentioned in last week's newsletter, by £2 per month. This is the first increase in 7 years and will enable the club to continue to invest in its gym and squash facilities.

Best regards
