Re post-AGM Report

Dear [[first name]]

As always I thank you for your support and I sincerely hope you are enjoying the club’s facilities. Over the past year I am sure you will agree that a lot has changed from club improvements, the Junior development program and a new management structure to name a few.

As highlighted at last months AGM the club is currently in a good position in terms of both funds and a steady increase in membership and on this footing I put forward our plans over the next year. In brief, and subject to outside funding, we are hoping to install a lift which will make our facilities accessible to all. The club is also in the process of finalising a contract with Instavolt to install EV charging points, these will generate a minimum of £125,000 income (index-linked) over the 25yr lease at no cost to the club. We will also continue to maintain the club to a high standard, promote new members (currently around 540 with a target of 650 including social memberships) and continue to grow the Junior development in a sustainable way and on this can I repeat my gratitude to all of the club's coaches. We must all, however, bear in mind that these ambitions are governed by our future resources.

The new committee has been elected and there are a few changes:

President – Peter Sears
Chairman – David Goodridge
Vice Chairman- John Baldwin
Secretary – John Baldwin (this role is acting as secretary to the committee only with all other secretarial roles being met by the management)
Treasurer – Peter Berry (all accountancy work is being undertaken by Burgin and Co)
Squash Chairman – Mark Oakes
House Chairman – Vic Skier

Members:

Jennie Lindfield
Helen Rees
Damian McEntegart
James Truman
Gavin Hoe
Myk North

New Member:

Alan Lavelle

Finally, can I thank all staff and fellow committee members who do a Sterling job and again all members for their support.

Kindest Regards

David Goodridge

GSRC Chairman
