Re new job opportunity!

As part of the restructuring of the Club management roles following Sonya’s recent, and Keith’s imminent departure, we will create a new, initially part-time role alongside Bryn. This is designed to offer greater front-of-house service during the day and free up time for the wider promotion of the club and, consequently, more in the way of revenue streams for reinvestment in its facilities. We welcome, therefore, applications from existing members themselves or from bona fide people recommended by members.

Title: Administrator/Bar Steward (reporting to General Manager)
Hours: 20 hours per week initially (between 09.00 and 17.30)
Salary: £10k p.a. plus profit share from bar area

Key tasks:
• Overseeing the running of the bar and bar area
• Stock control and purchasing
• Offering consistently great service to customers
• Promoting and handling usage of the function room
* Identifying opportunities to gain new business and follow up
to completion
• Using systems available to increase efficiency, maximise
profitability and improve sales reporting

Qualities of ideal candidate:
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commercial awareness with determination to achieve results
• Work on own initiative but in conjunction with manager
• Practical person with good IT and audio technical skills
• Mature, bright and calm personality

NB Deadline for applications is Friday 12th August and interviews planned to be held week commencing 15th August at the Club. Start date 1st September 2022, or earlier.
