Re Rachel Truman nominated for England Squash Award

The club is extremely proud to announce that one of its employees, Rachel Truman, has been nominated this year for the Diversity & Inclusion Champion Award. Most of you will have met Rachel around the club either helping with club administration, generating income for the club or in one of Trucoaching's squash and racketball groups. A lesser known fact is that she, sometimes together with her husband Nigel, has for a number of years run daytime coaching sessions for less able-bodied groups, such as Mixed Ability and Wheelchair players, as well as Junior groups in the evening. Rachel has a special gift for showing patience and understanding while motivating her groups so they feel a sense of achievement and enjoyment every time they visit the club.
I am sure you will want to congratulate Rachel for her nomination which is due to be decided at the end of November. The club is in no doubt of the value she brings to the club and to those who have been involved with her the past few years. Good luck, Rachel!!
